Pageflex Variable Data template programming:
Pageflex is a variable data template system that uses online templates to automate a flexible printing process. My experience with prepress and production graphics (along with a bit of determination) has allowed me to gain experience converting page graphic files into variable-data online templates which are then used to automate and expedite the print production process. This role involves creating and deploying variable-data templates to an online storefront that allows users to customize and order their pieces very quickly either through a form or a data list. Along with building and programming templates, I am often tasked to handle storefront task such as pricing, user management, site-skinning & etc. These challenges have allowed me to expand my skillset to include job planning and even light scripting using javascript or vbscript when needed. The main challenge here is to get an entire workflow in place to automate the print order process for each piece. Below are some screen grabs of a couple of sites that I currently work on:
